Your arrival is important to us. Please read the following directions carefully.

For Wharf Valet Parking

The Wharf provides valet parking service for guests who dine at Del Mar at The Intercontinental Hotel on Sutton Square. Valet parking is $35 per car for the first three hours and $45 thereafter. Cash as well as credit cards are accepted as payment.

To use the Wharf Valet, from Maine Avenue SW turn right onto Sutton Square. The Wharf Valet stand will be on your right at the entrance to the Intercontinental Hotel.

To Self Park in the Wharf Garage
The District Wharf includes a parking garage with approximately 600 public parking spaces.

The parking garage entrance closest to Del Mar is Wharf Garage 1- Sutton Square Entrance, located at 19 Sutton Square SW: Drive southeast on Maine Avenue SW past 9th Street SW, turn right onto Sutton Square (At the CVS), and the parking garage entrance will be on your left. Once parked, take the purple Pearl Street elevator to the ground floor. Exit to Pearl Street, walk towards the water. Turn right onto Wharf Street, Del Mar will be on the right.

If Wharf Garage 1 is full, Wharf Garages 2 and 3 also provide convenient access to Del Mar.

Special Event parking rates take effect at 4pm on dates with shows on The Anthem Calendar and additional special event days.

In the unlikely event all three parking garages at The Wharf are full, L’ Enfant Plaza (420 10th St SW) has multiple garages with ample spaces.

Southwest Waterfront-SEU (Green Line) – 8 minute walk

L’Enfant Plaza (Blue, Orange, Green, Yellow Lines) – 10-12 minute walk

The SW Neighborhood Shuttle is free and offers daily service to The Wharf from L'Enfant Plaza. Learn More >>

A privately owned water taxi makes stops in National Harbor, Alexandria, Georgetown, The District Wharf, and Nationals Park. Open seasonally.
